The result

CellarDoor.co is an ecommerce website open to friends and family of Treasury Wine Estates. It has an ongoing email campaign that promotes Treasury wines to subscribers. This includes brands such as Penfolds, Wynns Coonawarra Estate, Coldstream Hills, Seppelt and Squealing Pig.

I led the ongoing email marketing campaign, working closely with the ecommerce team and a team of graphic designers.

I built themes around each week’s list of wines on promotion, telling stories and writing evocative tasting notes. I tapped into CellarDoor.co’s brand identity, as well as the identities of each of Treasury’s brands.

The email campaign was an ongoing success. Email opens and click-through rates remained consistently higher than industry standards, and the emails were an effective sales tool.
